…you should attend a Second-Year Pre-Health Group Advising meeting!
During Advance registration, group advising is used to address the needs of second-year Pre-Health students. Topics will include: professional school prerequisite courses, grades, standardized exams, and gaining research, clinical, and leadership experience.
One-on-one appointments are available to students of all levels at other times of the academic year.
Between now and the meeting, students should familiarize themselves with the information on the office’s website. All second-year students interested in attending medical, dental, optometry, or veterinary school after they graduate from UMBC, are encouraged to attend.
This session will be offered twice during Fall 2019. The same content will be covered in both sessions. If you miss the November 1st session , the repeated session will be held after Thanksgiving Break (date and time, TBD).
Attendance will be taken at this session. Please bring your UMBC Campus ID for this purpose.
