or
Are enrolled in the prerequisites to prepare for future enrollment in these courses (e.g., MATH 106)
…you should attend a First-Year Pre-Health Group Advising meeting!
During Advance Registration, group advising is used to address the needs of first-year Pre-Health students. Topics will include: professional school prerequisite courses, grades, standardized exams, and gaining research, clinical, and leadership experience.
One-on-one appointments are available to students of all levels at other times of the academic year.
Between now and the meeting, students should familiarize themselves with the information on the office’s website. All first-year students interested in attending medical, dental, optometry, or veterinary school after they graduate from UMBC, are encouraged to attend.
